What happens in a sound meditation?
When doing a sound meditation we recommend that the client lies down on the floor on a yoga mat with their head close to the instruments, as this gives the maximum benefits. Once the client is guided to a relaxed state, the sound therapist plays Tibetan and crystal bowls and a variety of healing instruments to further deepen the meditative state. Client's report feeling more relaxed after the sound therapy/meditation session.
