Mindful eating is not a way of dieting. It is a way of being conscious and savoring food for pleasure as well as health. When you slow down and pay attention to how and what you eat, you’re more likely to make better decisions that will nourish your body.
Our Mindful Tools for Eating individual and group programs focus on learning better ways to be conscious and present to food. The participant learns to learn to use all senses in exploring and savoring food and become better aware at physical hunger and satiety. The Mindful Tools for Eating is not a dieting or weight loss program. It is a way of being aware and conscious of how you eat. It teaches you to reconnect to the wisdom of your body. It gives you tools for dealing with emotional hunger and improve one's mental and physical well-being.
